Leadership Conference

We had a very successful leadership conference in North India. We had two hundred fifty Christian leaders attended the three-day conference. The presence of God was so strong and in our midst that people were dancing and joyfully praising God! The word of God was so powerful no one wanted to leave the tent. We had three sessions everyday: at 8:30 and 11:30 in the morning and 4:30 in the evening. We had limited facilities, hot weather, a poor sound system and light, but none of these things deterred the people from staying through all the sessions all day. We could literally feel and see the manifested presence of the Lord. You can see the crowd worshiping the Lord joyfully and gratefully in the attached pictures. Many were healed, strengthened and encouraged. I vividly remember one pastor who came and gave his testimony. He said that he had been pastoring a church for the last three years, but had become discouraged and tired and decided to quit the ministry. On the way to his parents’ home, he decided to come and attend the pastor’s conference. During the first evening session, the Lord spoke to him as he was listening the word. He was encouraged and decided to return to his church and continue pastoring and ministry.

One of the most joyful times for me was seeing five of our SALI graduates who currently minister in this region in attendance at the conference. All of them talked with me and shared their story. Three of our graduates are now pastoring churches in their home communities and two are assisting pastors in churches. This is the testimony of our efforts: for three years we trained them, discipled them, fed them, clothed them and sheltered them. All they know is what we taught them, and now they are in the vineyard of the Lord and what they are doing has eternal value!
